We're seeking the right person to join and support our team of self-motivated people who provide innovative solutions for the needs of the blind, vision impaired, deaf, hearing impaired and families with children living with Autism. 

Your part in the team will be to manage the day to day planning and coordination of volunteer activities for the whole organisation as well as developing Guide Dogs' Bequest and Major Donor strategies. You will help develop and implement donor related events that raise the awareness of the organisation and contriute to fundraising and bequest strategies. 
 
The team you join will benefit from your exceptional ability to communicate and develop relationships and experience in organising events. You must also hold a drivers licence.
 

You will work with a diverse team of enthusiastic and passionate people but will have the chance to work autonomously.

GUIDE DOG MOBILITY INSTRUCTOR

  • Fulltime position – Monday to Friday
  • Based in Adelaide, South Australia
  • Supportive learning environment
  • Assistance with Visa requirements and relocation
Guide Dogs SA.NT provide innovative solutions for the needs of the blind, vision impaired, deaf, hearing impaired and families with children living with autism. Our Guide Dogs Services team manages the guide dog program and other exciting initiatives such as Autism Assistance Dogs and Pets as Therapy Dogs.
 
You must meet the following criteria:
  • Have a passion for working with people with disabilities and an interest in rehabilitation.
  • Have a current driver’s licence.
  • Be highly self-motivated with the ability to effectively network with clients and other key industry contacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement consumer focused guide dog programs.
  • Proven experience in supervising apprentice programs.
