We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Case Manager to join our Sensory Services team who provide case management services for people with a sensory disability which is impacting their independence and who have complex needs.

You will provide an expert case management service to complex clients which includes assessing client needs, planning, allocating and coordinating supports and providing advice and information. You will also provide mentoring and professional coaching and clinical supervision to less experienced staff within the team.

You must have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant industry
  • A current unencumbered driver’s licence.

Experience in complex case management/coordination and in coaching, developing and inspiring staff is highly advantageous.

The Sensory Services team provide case management services across SA for people with a sensory disability which is impacting their independence and who have complex needs.  The team work with people to understand their needs and assist them to achieve their goals and be as independent as possible.  

If you are a passionate, self-motivated Case Manager we want you to join our organisation and work in a supportive environment which includes professional development.

 You must have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant behavioural or health-related area.
  • A current unencumbered drivers licence.
  • Self- motivation with the ability to establish credibility and gain the confidence of a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds.

Knowledge of the disability sector, experience in mediation, counselling, group work and negotiation principles and/or the ability to communicate in Auslan is highly advantageous.

PRODUCTION MANAGER

We have a fantastic management and development opportunity for a qualified Guide Dog Mobility Instructor available now!

  • Fulltime position - Monday to Friday
  • Flexible working arrangements may be negotiated

You will be responsible for providing leadership and operational management of the program of services relating to breeding and puppy development, Guide Dog and Assistance Dog training programs.  We are entering an exciting phase with the establishment of our Autism Assistance Dog Program.

You must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor qualification.
  • Have a current driver's licence.
  • Be highly self-motivated with the ability to establish credibility and gain the confidence of a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Management experience with the development and delivery of outcome focussed services is highly desirable.

ORTHOPTIST

Part-time, negotiable

Caring and motivated
Guide Dogs SA.NT is seeking a caring and motivated Orthoptist to provide high quality services to clients of our Acquired Brain Injury program and our soon to be established Low Vision Service.

The successful applicant will work as part of the multi-disciplinary Vision Services team which includes Orientation and Mobility Instructors, an Occupational Therapist and a part-time Orthoptist. The team provides rehabilitation services to a broad range of vision-impaired and blind clients, of varying ages and diagnoses.

Communication skills
The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and experience dealing with elderly clients. Experience in a rehabilitation setting would be advantageous.
