SMOKE ALARM SCHEME

Hearing Solutions provides help for people who are deaf or hearing impaired and cannot hear a standard smoke alarm.

A warning sound outside the bedroom, with a flashing light above the bed and a vibration signal inside a pillowslip is considered to be the most effective system to help awaken a deaf person.

Free to people who meet eligibility criteria (includes installation).

The Smoke Alarm Scheme is an initiative of the SA Government.
