DISCUSSION GROUPS
Participation in a Discussion Group is available to those people who have completed any hearing rehabilitation course and would like further interaction to improve skills and confidence. Discussion Groups provide a comfortable, supportive environment where participants can practice previously learnt skills and build on communication skills.
FRIENDSHIP/SUPPORT GROUPS
Friendship/Support Groups have been established to allow participants to practice leadership, communication skills, social interaction and gain information on a wide variety of topics. Programs are organised and led by the participants.
These groups are held in Adelaide, outer metropolitan and country South Australia.
VISION & HEARING SUPPORT GROUP
This support group is available for those people who have a dual sensory loss. A supportive environment is provided where participants can practice skills to assist with a vision and hearing loss. The group is co-facilitated by Hearing and Vision Services staff.
