A Dream Come True for Young Carer, Harvey

Like most ten-year-old kids, Harvey LOVES dogs. But, as one of the estimated 750,000 Young Carers who support a family member living with disability, he often misses out on the experiences of other kids his age. To say thanks to Harvey for being a Young Carer, Guide Dogs SA/NT and Little Dreamers fulfilled his dream to spend a PAWsome day with our puppies and dogs-in-training!

Raise a puppy, change lives.

Guide Dogs wins Australia's Most Trusted Charity - AGAIN!

For the second year running, Guide Dogs has been voted Australia’s Most Trusted Charity 2014, in the annual Australian READER’s DIGEST Most Trusted Brand poll.

Based on a survey of 2,400 respondents nationally, Guide Dogs was recognised for its industry-leading services, including providing guide dogs to Australians who are blind or vision impaired, for over 60 years.

Guide Dogs SA/NT Chief Executive Kate Thiele said it was truly humbling to receive the accolade.
