Telemarketing Terms and Conditions
Postage and handling
Delivery within Australia for purchases from Telemarketing will take up to 10 working days.
Telemarketing does not trade outside Australia through this website.
All lottery tickets will be forwarded within two weeks of acceptance. The tickets include an invoice and a return envelope. The return envelope is for payment and the completed ticket butts.

Guide Dogs utilises a secure encrypted offsite connection for the storage of any credit card numbers.
We utilise a secure payment gateway, operating on 256 AES encryption. This ensures high level protection of your personal and financial details as well as order particulars which are all encrypted as they are sent to and from your computer.
Order information including your name and address are only stored on our server for us to facilitate any customer service enquiries and deliveries.
Recurring donations will take 48hrs to process. Our system batch process recurring donations on the 6th and 20th of each month. The date for your future recurring transaction will be on the closest date noted above following the date of the initial funds transfer. For recurring donations a yearly tax invoice will be forwarded to you at the end of the financial year.
One off donations will receive a receipt for the customer's copy upon transaction. For security purposes, the credit card details will not be stored by Guide Dogs.
Delivery within Australia for purchases from the Online Shop will take up to 5 working days.
The cost of postage and handling will be diplayed in the checkout when you are purchasing your order.
Freight pricing has been set at a flat rate of $8.50 Australia wide and includes the cost of handling.
Online Shop orders
We take great care to ensure that prices and items for sale on this website are accurate. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return the item in the original packaging within the warranty period which is 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Under the Trade Practices Act 1974 you may seek a refund if goods:
- Are or become faulty through no fault of your own
- Are not fit for a stated purpose or a purpose you made known to our sales staff
- Don’t match the description or sample
- Have defects that were not obvious.
However, the goods must be returned within a reasonable period and you must show proof of purchase. You may also be asked to demonstrate that the problem with the goods was not your fault.
You are not entitled to a refund if you simply change your mind. Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
Donations and Lottery Tickets
Guide Dogs does not provide refunds for donations or the sale of lottery tickets.
All prices referred to on this website are in Australian dollars only.
International Currency Terms
Please be advised that your donation will be converted to Australian Dollars. Please be aware of your local exchange rate at present and consider any recurring donations where the exchange rate may vary.
